The CINN researcher PhD. Amparo Borrell is participating in the 13th International Conference on Microwave and High Frequency Heating that will be held in Toulouse (France)  from 5 to 8 September 2011.

The CINN researcher will present a paper entitled "Microwave sintering of yttria-stabilized zirconia with high properties" in which it is analyzed the improved properties of the 3Y-TZP materials obtained by microwave sintering of nanopowders in comparison with the ones obtained by conventional sintering.

In this work the CINN has collaborated with the Institute for the Application of Information Technology and Advanced Communications (ITHACA) and the Materials Technology Institute (MTI), both from the Polytechnic University of Valencia.
