TV report released on April 28, 2012 in the news of the Televisionof the Principality of Asturias (TPA) on the research project SPIA (Autonomous System Luminous Staff) in which the CINN collaborates with Confecciones Novatex SL (Coordinator), FCC Construccion and ITMA Materials Technology.

The goal of SPIA is to design, develop, test and implement new systems for high visibility signage. To develop a family of garments for single autonomous lighting based on smart textiles (photoluminescent and electroluminescent) devices and "energy harvesting" (from piezoelectric or ferromagnetic material).
